These Dreams have Wings

This painting is part of the Visions of Peace series, issued as a stamp by the United Nations in 2007. Two figures from different racial backgrounds share a vision of freedom. Like our mind, birds travel freely between earth and sky, linking them and transcending barriers. The joined hands suggest the will to turn the vision into peaceful action.
